A special Golden Triangle is formed of the cities Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. This tour will emphasize on Indian food and cuisine. A must see for Tourists who want a special introduction to the basic Indian cuisine. The best of Northern and West Indian cuisines is covered here, including all the sight seeing of the three cities. DAY 1: Delhi Food Tour

Our first day in Delhi begins with visits to the Delhi landmarks. We see Lotus Temple, a Baha’i house of worship built in 1986 and a 72 m tall Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, Delhi. Delhi Agra Jaipur Golden triangle tour package of Indiatower built in 1193, the Qutub Minar. By noon we begin the food tour of Delhi, starting with old Delhi. A great way to be introduced to Indian cuisine and culture, this trip will set the mood for the rest of the trip. You will get to sample about 15-18 varieties of Food dishes each with it’s own place in cuisine of Delhi, as you visit 10 or more food joints in Old Delhi, Central and South Delhi. The food joint that you will visit have been there since many generations and are known for their quality and taste of the food that they provide. You will visit a places which are 110 to 40 years old. This trip in the old part of Delhi will find you walking through the narrow medieval streets of Delhi. Here you will sample many Indian delicacies like samosa, lassi, butter chicken, kulfi (Indian ice cream), melt in the mouth kebabs and many such variants. You will see that the different lanes are marked for selling different types of goods ranging from invitation cards, spices, camera, utensils, bicycles, clothes, shoes, vegetables, etc. We also go to see the spice market of Delhi and a temple which houses a charitable kitchen and feeds more than 10,000 people everyday.

DAY 2: Cooking Fun

Now is the time when you actually get a chance to cook some of the different varieties that you had sampled. We will organize a half day cooking class for you which will be guided by a chef and his family. The class begins by making of masala chai (Indian tea) and some fried Indian snacks known as Pakodas which are enjoyed hot. You will enjoy your chai and pakodas as the chef speaks about an introduction to Indian food and the expectations he has from you to make the most of this cooking class. Now you actually start cooking. You will be taught to cook some Indian meals like daal and pulao, egg plant raita, rotis and stuffed parathas (stuffed and fried rotis). You will also learn to make some delicious Indian vegetable and dessert such as halwa. Non-vegetarian dishes include butter chicken, chicken tikka and mutton curry. We now have a sumptuous spread of dishes in front of us which we will savor in the form of a meal. At the end of the class the chef will gift you with the small spice hamper to carry back home. After the cooking class is over we can visit the India Gate, Rajpath and the President’s House. This area of Delhi is especially beautiful after dark and is a popular spot of picnic for the Delhi residents.

DAY 3: Visit to Taj Mahal

A day to visit one of the wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal. It is a three hours drive from Delhi to Agra. We start early in the morning from Delhi. Taj Mahal, Agra tour, IndiaWe reach Agra and check-in to the hotel. After some rest we go to visit the Taj Mahal. Any picture does not truly justify the actual beauty of the monument. You can spend some time here having a look at the intricate work and the wonderful detailing. You can then opt to take a walk in the wonderful lawns as you enjoy the beauty of the fountains. You may also wish to take some pictures on the marble benches just like some world known celebrities. After visiting the Taj Mahal, we head towards the Agra Fort made of red sandstone and learn about its history walking through the various parts of the fort and enjoying the breathtaking views of the city of Agra as well as the Taj Mahal.

DAY 4: Jaipur, The Pink City

We spend this day sight seeing in the wonderful city of Jaipur. This city is known city as the Pink City. Here we first go to visit the Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Wind. It is a 5 story tall monument with intricate lattice work and has 953 small jharokhas (windows). After enjoying the beauty of the Hawa Mahal, we go to spend some time with the elephants in the Pink City. The elephants are gentle giants and highly trained. Before we begin the play timw, you will be served a delicious traditional Rajasthani thali for lunch. After enjoying the meal, you can have as much time as you want feeding, riding and playing with the friendly and trained elephants. Then come the time to ride an elephant of your choice and ride into the jungle. We spent some time there under the open sky with the bon fire. We can also opt to have a demonstration of the handicraft and entertain ourselves with some Rajasthani folk dance.

OPTIONAL DAY 4: Jaipur Sightseeing

This is the optional day in Jaipur for full fledged sightseeing . We visit the Jantar Mantar, an incredible astronomical observatory built in the early 18th century by Maharaja Jaisingh. We then visit the Jaipur City Palace and enjoy looking at the museum. A part of the palace is still a royal residence. After that we visit the Jal Mahal which is a palace constructed on a small island in the water of the Man Sagar Lake

DAY5: Food walk of Jaipur

The food tour of Jaipur begins today. It is a day long trip where you get to experience Jaipur and it’s original ethereal beaCooking classes in Indiauty. We have a light breakfast and then spend time in the walled city of Jaipur. We begin by having some salted lassi. As you walk in the streets of this Pink City enjoying the sights of the market, you can sample all the different varieties of food it has to offer. This food tour will offer you the sampling of fragrant kachoris full of flavor and some chai which is prepared over the charcoal fire. You can also get to taste the wonderful array of Rajasthani sweets and snacks. We end the day by having a large platter of traditional Rajasthani Dinner. Along with sampling food, we also do some sight seeing such as Galta Jee Temple which houses a lot of monkeys and langoors and the Amer Fort. The sight seeing will depend on the time we have on hand. We will visit the local markets which are very colorful, fragrant and full of life with lots of people selling lots of things in their shops such as shoes, bangles, jewellery, clothes, utensils, spices, artifacts. The guests will be guided in the use of spices used in the traditional Rajasthani cooking.

DAY 6: Nahargarh Fort

Early in the morning, we pack our bags to visit some more landmarks in Jaipur. One of them is the Nahargarh Fort. Nahargarh means the abode of tigers and it was constructed in the 18thcentury. The royal family loved to have picnic at this place. The fort is still in a very good condition and from a height you can enjoy the view of the city. We spend some time here before we go back to Delhi.

DAY 6: Udaipur via Ranakpur

One more morning to wake up early and drive to Udaipur. In between we halt at the famous Jain temples of Ranakpur. Here you can rest a little as you enjoy the sights of the temple constructed between the 14th and 16th century. The architectural style is very unique. One of the temples contains 1444 marble pillars, and each one of them is carved in extreme detail. We then proceed to Udaipur and reach by evening. As we go to the hotel there, you will again be invited for cooking session, where you will learn some more local Rajasthani delicacies. These dishes will be served for dinner.

DAY 7: Goodbye

We will do some more sightseeing in Udaipur such as the Pichola lake and enjoy the view on its banks and then we fly back to Delhi.

optional Day 6: To Udaipur via Chittorgarh

As we drive towards Udaipur, after having lunch in Chittorgarh, an ancient city established in the 271 BC. A lot of heroic sacrifices and one of the most wanted seats of power during the olden times, in Chittorgarh you will learn about many historic characters like Maharana Pratap, Meera Bai, Rana Sanga, and Rana Kumbha and so on. You will be able to visit tourist attractions like Vijay stambha, Kalika Mata Temple, Rani Padmini’s temple and the like. We, then go to Udaipur and check in the hotel at night.

Optional DAY 7: Udaipur Sightseeing

The day starts with a visit to the City Palace Museum and look at the vast collection of medieval and ancient artifacts. The palace is extremely beautiful. This palace was built over a period of 400 years and I a mix of various styles of architecture. We then go and visit the Jagdish temple nearby and look at the extraordinary craftsmanship. This is a white temple and was built in 1651. It is quite popular with the tourists and devotees from distant places come to visit it. After this we go to the Fateh Sagar Lake, an artificial lake built in 1651. It has the Aravalli Mountains on the three sides. We do some boating here and view the sunset as we visit one of the lands in the middle of the lake. Later, we drive back to the hotel.

DAY 8: Flight or train to Delhi

We return back via, flight, train or road, and we keep the day free to adjust the travel timings.
